I have 23 years’ policing experience, starting my career with the Metropolitan Police Service where I served for four years before joining Greater Manchester Police. Throughout my service, I have worked in uniformed roles across both response and neighbourhood policing.
As a Neighbourhood Inspector in Salford, I’m committed to working closely with our communities and partner agencies to tackle local issues, reduce crime and improve public confidence.
Sergeant Jack Edwards has served within Salford since 2019, beginning his career as a Response Constable before spending a short period with the Tactical Aid Unit. Following promotion to Sergeant, he returned to Salford and has been based at Little Hulton and Walkden North since December 2025. His key priorities are tackling organised crime groups involved in the supply of illegal drugs and addressing anti-social vehicle use, both of which have a significant impact on local communities. He is committed to working with partners and residents to reduce crime, improve community safety, and ensure neighbourhoods remain safe places to live and work.
PC Hahn has served in Salford for the past eight years and has built a strong reputation for tackling serious and organised crime across Little Hulton and Walkden. Working closely with local communities, PC Hahn has developed valuable intelligence that has led to the planning and execution of numerous drug warrants targeting those involved in the supply of illegal drugs. His proactive approach has resulted in hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of drugs being removed from the streets, alongside the seizure of weapons and criminal property. Committed to disrupting criminal networks and protecting vulnerable communities, PC Hahn continues to play a key role in reducing harm and making local neighbourhoods safer.
PC Greeley is a dedicated neighbourhood officer with a particular passion for tackling vehicle-related offending and improving community safety. Over the past 12 months, PC Greeley has relentlessly targeted the illegal use of electric bikes and Surrons, pursuing offenders and successfully seizing and destroying more than 40 vehicles. This work directly responds to concerns raised by local residents, who have identified anti-social and dangerous vehicle use as a significant issue within the community. PC Greeley is committed to addressing this problem day in and day out, using proactive policing tactics to reduce nuisance, deter criminality, and make local neighbourhoods safer for everyone.
PC Whitham has been a member of the neighbourhood team since the beginning of his policing career, developing a deep understanding of the communities he serves and building strong, effective relationships with partner agencies. Through this collaborative approach, PC Whitham has successfully secured numerous closure orders and utilised a range of early intervention and enforcement measures, including parenting contracts and tenancy breach proceedings. His work has played a key role in tackling persistent anti-social behaviour and criminality, leading to the repossession of properties that had become a source of community concern. These actions have helped create opportunities for law-abiding families to move into the area, contributing to safer, stronger neighbourhoods across Little Hulton and Walkden.
PCSO Hartley has been a valued member of the neighbourhood team for 18 years, dedicating his career to serving the communities of Little Hulton and Walkden. Over this time, he has built strong and lasting relationships with partner agencies, local organisations, and residents, making him an invaluable asset to the team. PCSO Hartley plays a pivotal role in gathering intelligence, listening to community concerns, and ensuring that issues raised by residents are acted upon quickly and effectively. His ability to build trust, foster positive relationships, and deliver tangible results has helped strengthen public confidence in policing while contributing significantly to reducing crime and anti-social behaviour across the area.
Anti social Behaviour
Issued 12 October 2026
ASB
Our neighbourhood priority is to tackle anti-social behaviour linked to electric bikes, particularly dangerous riding, noise nuisance, and intimidation of residents. We will work with partners to identify hotspots, carry out targeted patrols, and engage with offenders to prevent escalation. Enforcement will be coupled with education to raise awareness of legal requirements and safe riding. We will use intelligence-led approaches, including community reporting and CCTV where appropriate, to disrupt persistent offenders. Our aim is to improve safety, reduce harm, and reassure the community by taking a firm but fair approach to those misusing electric bikes in our area.

FRAUD
Our neighbourhood priority is to tackle fraud linked to retail crime, including refund fraud, counterfeit goods, and organised theft impacting local businesses. We will work closely with retailers, security teams, and partner agencies to share intelligence, identify repeat offenders, and disrupt criminal networks. Targeted patrols and proactive operations will be supported by evidence gathering, CCTV, and reporting systems. We will also promote prevention by encouraging good retail practices and staff awareness. Our focus is to protect businesses, reduce financial loss, and build confidence within the retail community through a consistent, intelligence-led enforcement approach.
