I have almost 29 years of policing service, the majority of which has been spent in neighbourhood policing roles as a Police Constable, Sergeant, and now Inspector.
I am passionate about neighbourhood policing and see it as a genuine privilege to serve the communities of East Stockport. My focus is on working with residents, partners, and local organisations to tackle local priorities, solve problems, prevent crime and anti-social behaviour, and help build safer, stronger neighbourhoods.
I firmly believe in a ""You Said, We Did"" approach, ensuring that community concerns help shape our policing activity wherever possible.
Residents can engage with me through local community events and Area Committee Meetings, held every six weeks, where there is a dedicated Neighbourhood Policing update and opportunities to raise local issues, ask questions, and help influence local policing priorities.
I am proud to serve East Stockport and remain committed to listening, engaging, and working alongside our communities to make a positive difference.
I have 11 years of experience within Greater Manchester Police. Having spent the last 2 years as a Neighbourhood Sergeant covering the East of Stockport, I feel I have found my passion and can genuinely say I enjoy coming to work every day. I am proud of the team that I lead and do my best to make sure they feel valued, motivated and confident to carry out their role. I strive to understand the concerns of local residents, businesses and partner agencies by building genuine relationships. I work with partners such as local authorities, housing providers, to find sustainable solutions to long term problems. I am particularly passionate about protecting vulnerable people and victims of exploitation. I am committed to being visible and accessible through regular community engagement events, providing residents with opportunities to raise concerns, ask questions, and tell their local policing team what matters most to them. Building and maintaining trust with the communities I serve is important to me, and I do this by being open and transparent, listening to local concerns, and taking positive action in response to the information I receive."
I have served with Greater Manchester Police for 20 years. I have been a Police constable for 13 years and I currently work as the neighbourhood officer for Bredbury. My role involves working with residents, local businesses and partner agencies to address crime, anti-social behaviour and other issues affecting the local community.
My current priorities include tackling retail crime, reducing anti-social behaviour and improving community confidence through visible neighbourhood policing. I regularly attend engagement events and community meetings and work closely with partner organisations to identify and resolve local issues.
I encourage residents to speak with me at local events and share any concerns so we can work together to improve the area.
I have served with Greater Manchester Police for approximately 6 years and currently work on the East Neighbourhood J Division at Marple Police Station covering Marple, High Lane and other local neighbourhoods. My role is to work alongside the local NBO’s to assist them with their duties. Also to assist businesses and partner agencies to address local concerns and improve community safety in my neighbourhood. My current focus includes ASB, parking concerns, traffic management, and supporting long-term problem solving within the community. I regularly attend neighbourhood engagement events, local residents’ meetings, and use Bee in the Loop to advertise events and meetings, as well as share our activities. I want to make the East Neighbourhood a safer place to live, work and visit for the community as a whole."
