Your Neighbourhood Policing Team
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is a group of local police officers and staff dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of police officers and a dedicated Police Community Support Officer (PCSO). These are supported by additional officers and staff from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for your area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on the basics: to fight, prevent and reduce crime, whilst keeping people safe and caring for victims.

Shoplifting / Antisocial behaviour
Action taken:
The Audenshaw Neighbourhood Policing Team continues to prioritise the targeting of prolific shoplifters, particularly around Snipe Retail Park and local Co-operative stores.
Officers are working closely with store management and security teams to identify repeat offenders and implement preventative measures.In addition, the team is actively addressing incidents of antisocial behaviour at and around Ryecroft Hall.
This includes increased patrols in hotspot areas, engagement with local youth services, and working alongside partner agencies to provide long-term solutions.
