With over 20 years of service as a Police Officer with Greater Manchester Police, I am currently serving as the Neighbourhood Inspector for Audenshaw, Droylsden, Denton, Hyde, Hattersley, and Longendale. My role is centred around delivering visible, responsive, and community-focused policing. I am committed to ensuring my team actively listens to local residents and collaborates with partners to address anti-social behaviour, neighbourhood crime, and drug-related activities, while safeguarding the most vulnerable members of our communities.
I believe that effective neighbourhood policing involves crime prevention, problem-solving, and building trust, ultimately contributing to a safer community environment.
I have been with Greater Manchester Police for over seven years and currently serve as the Neighbourhood Sergeant for Droylsden and Audenshaw. Together with my team, I work closely with residents, local businesses, and partner organisations to tackle crime, reduce anti-social behaviour, and address issues that affect our communities.
My current priorities include tackling retail crime, disrupting drug-related activity, addressing concerns such as the misuse of fireworks and e-bikes, and building public confidence through visible neighbourhood policing. I am passionate about working with local people and encourage residents to speak with me and my team at community events, meetings, or while we are out on patrol so we can work together to make the area a safer place for everyone.
I have served with Greater Manchester Police for the past 9 years, including 6 years as a Response Officer and 3 years as a Neighbourhood Officer.
This experience has provided me with a broad understanding of policing, from responding to emergency incidents and investigating offences to developing long-term solutions to issues affecting local communities.
In my current role as a Neighbourhood Officer, I work closely with residents, local businesses, and partner agencies to address crime, anti-social behaviour and other concerns impacting the community. My policing experience has enabled me to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and develop a problem-solving approach to tackling local issues.
My current priorities include tackling and disrupting organised crime, retail crime, reducing anti-social behaviour and improving community confidence through visible neighbourhood policing. I regularly attend community engagement events and local meetings, working alongside partner organisations to identify concerns, implement effective interventions and deliver sustainable solutions for the communities I serve.

Your Droylsden East neighbourhood policing team are currently prioritising action against drug-related crime in the town centre. Officers have stepped up stop-and-search activity in affected areas and are conducting plain-clothed patrols, leading to an increase in arrests.
In addition, the team continues to tackle off-road bike misuse along the canal and Fairfield Road, ensuring these areas remain safe and accessible for the community.
