Action taken:
Your Hyde Newton Neighbourhood Policing team are currently prioritising the issue of prolific shoplifters, particularly those impacting the CO-OP and Morrisons located on Talbot road. Officers have stepped up patrols at these locations and are actively pursuing court orders to ban repeat offenders from entering the premises altogether.
Additionally, the team continues to focus on the issue of off-road motorcycle activity on Victoria Street & Garden Fields. In response, officers have increased both high-visibility and plain-clothes patrols in the area to deter and address this behaviour.
