I have served with Greater Manchester Police for 17 years and currently lead neighbourhood policing across North and East Tameside. My role is to ensure our neighbourhood teams remain effective, visible and focused on tackling crime, anti-social behaviour and the issues causing the greatest harm to local communities.

I work closely with frontline officers, partner agencies and analysts to identify crime patterns, understand emerging trends and direct resources where they can have the greatest impact. My focus is on problem solving, targeting repeat offenders and ensuring our teams are focused on the issues that matter most to residents. By using intelligence, evidence and local knowledge, we aim to prevent crime, reduce anti-social behaviour and make our communities safer.

As a Neighbourhood Sergeant for Tameside East area, I manage a team of neighbourhood officers and PCSOs.

Our focus is on collaborating with the local community to identify and address long-term issues impacting our neighbourhoods. My team and I work closely with local residents, businesses, and partner agencies to combat crime and reduce anti-social behaviour. Currently, our priorities include addressing concerns related to anti-social behaviour, E-bikes and substance misuse.

I am dedicated to ensuring that officers are visible within their communities and actively engaged in tackling the issues identified that impact local residents most.

Community engagement is a key priority, and I strive to foster strong relationships with everyone in our area to create a safer and more cohesive environment. I would encourage anyone to speak with myself or my team at community events, meetings or whilst out on patrol.

My name is PC 04096 Douglas, and I am the Neighbourhood Police Officer for Stalybridge South.

A key part of my role is working closely with residents, local organisations, and partner agencies to tackle the issues that matter most to our community. Through regular engagement, high-visibility patrols, and problem-solving initiatives, I aim to provide reassurance, reduce crime and antisocial behaviour, and help keep our neighbourhoods safe.

Working alongside our PCSOs and community partners, I am committed to ensuring that local voices are listened to and that community concerns are addressed effectively. Building trust, maintaining open communication, and supporting local priorities remain at the heart of my policing approach.

I have served with Greater Manchester Police for 9 years and currently work as the PCSO for Stalybridge South. My role involves working closely with residents, businesses, partner agencies to tackle local issues and help keep the area safe and welcoming place for everyone.

My priorities include tackling anti-social behaviour, patrolling hotspots and attending meetings with residents and partner agencies, whilst supporting long-term problem solving within the community.

I regularly attend community meetings, engagement events, partnership forums to understand local concerns and identify solutions.

I encourage residents, businesses and visitors to speak to me at local events and share concerns to work towards the improvement of the area we work and live in whilst strengthening community confidence.
