Greater Manchester Police is continuing momentum in fighting and preventing domestic and sexual abuse.
At around 10.50pm last night (Tuesday, 18 April, 2023), Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Rutland, Road Tyldesley.
On Thursday 9 March, at around 3:45pm, GMP were called to reports of a Robbery at a premises on Brackley Street, Farnworth. It is believed that a man attended the property and threatened the staff with a weapon, before leaving with multiple pieces of jewellery.
Operation Tramline saw officers from GMP’s Traffic Safer Roads Targeting Team identify 88 driving offences over a four-day period.
Jonathan Adamson (13/07/1997) of Stocks Lane, Stalybridge was today (Monday 17 April 2023) pleaded guilty and was sentenced to seven years and four months imprisonment for the manslaughter of David Aubert on Thursday 2 June 2022.
This morning (Tuesday 18 April 2023), officers from GMP’s Money Laundering Team executed search warrants at three properties and a commercial premises in Bury.
An arrest has been made following an investigation into a firearms discharge in Harpurhey over the weekend.

Between 12am and 1am this morning (Sunday 16 April 2023), officers were called to reports of multiple arson attacks of properties across the Great Leaver and Farnworth areas.
