Speeding and other traffic related offences on priority routes throughout the Breightmet and surrounding area. Priority routes Bury Road / Thicketford Road. Peak times are mid to late afternoon.
Action taken:
Your local officers will be conducting speed enforcement in the area and dealing with motorists who exceed the limit under Operation Classify. They will also be seizing uninsured vehicles and arresting anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol. We are also working with local schools to make the roads safer around schools.

Drug dealing occurring in the back streets off Bury Road and within housing estates.
Action taken:
Neighbourhood Officers are working with our road policing unit to target the use of offenders using e-bikes. They are also working with the local authority to improve lighting at repeat locations.
