I have served with Greater Manchester Police for 20 years and currently hold the position of Inspector for the North Neighbourhood Team. Prior to this role, I worked in Response Policing, most recently as the Inspector responsible for a response team in Bolton. Before serving in Bolton, I worked on the Wigan District, based at Leigh Police Station, where I gained valuable experience policing and engaging with local communities across the borough.
As the Inspector for the North Neighbourhood Team, I oversee the performance and development of three neighbourhood teams, ensuring we deliver against both force priorities and the issues identified by residents and community stakeholders. Our priorities regularly evolve in response to operational demands and emerging issues. However, we maintain a consistent focus on road safety, acquisitive crime, drug dealing, and anti-social behaviour, as these remain key concerns for local communities and can have a significant impact on residents' quality of life.
A key part of my role is engaging directly with residents and partner agencies. I regularly attend neighbourhood engagement events, including PACT (Police and Communities Together) meetings, and work closely with colleagues from the local authority, housing providers, and elected councillors to address the issues that matter most to local people.
I strongly encourage members of the community to attend local meetings, share their concerns, and work alongside us. By listening, collaborating, and building strong partnerships, we can continue to make our neighbourhoods safer places to live, work, and visit.

I have served with Greater Manchester Police for 10 years and am proud to be the Neighbourhood Sergeant for Breightmet and Tonge and The Haulgh. Supporting our local communities is at the heart of my role, and I work closely with residents, businesses, and partner organisations to tackle issues affecting daily life and enhance community safety.
My current focus is on addressing antisocial behaviour, tackling retail crime, and developing long-term solutions to recurring problems within our neighbourhoods. I regularly engage with local residents and partners through community meetings and events, ensuring that local priorities remain at the forefront of our policing efforts.
Your views and concerns are important. I encourage everyone to get involved, attend local meetings, and speak with us about the issues affecting your area. Together, we can continue to build safer, stronger communities for everyone.
