Burglary / Antisocial behaviour
Issued 19 May 2026
The Denton North East Neighbourhood Policing Team is prioritising the increase in residential burglaries within the ward. These crimes have had a significant impact on the community, leading the team to implement a range of measures to combat them. Officers are conducting high-visibility patrols, providing residents with crime prevention tips, and working closely with local neighbourhood watch schemes.
Additionally the team is focusing on tackling antisocial behaviour, especially in and around Victoria Park and neighbouring areas. These areas have been identified as hotspots for disruptive activities, which affect the quality of life for local residents. The team is working closely with community groups and local authorities to implement effective strategies to reduce these incidents.
