With over 20 years of service as a Police Officer with Greater Manchester Police, I am currently serving as the Neighbourhood Inspector for Audenshaw, Droylsden, Denton, Hyde, Hattersley, and Longendale. My role is centred around delivering visible, responsive, and community-focused policing. I am committed to ensuring my team actively listens to local residents and collaborates with partners to address anti-social behaviour, neighbourhood crime, and drug-related activities, while safeguarding the most vulnerable members of our communities.
I believe that effective neighbourhood policing involves crime prevention, problem-solving, and building trust, ultimately contributing to a safer community environment.
I have served with Greater Manchester Police for five and a half years and currently work as the Neighbourhood Sergeant for Denton. My role is to lead the local neighbourhood policing team, working closely with residents, businesses and partner agencies to address the issues that matter most to our community.
My focus is on tackling crime and anti-social behaviour, identifying emerging local concerns and supporting long-term solutions to improve community safety and confidence. I am committed to ensuring our team is visible, accessible and responsive to the needs of Denton.
I encourage residents to engage with us at local meetings and community events, speak to our officers and share their concerns so we can work together to make Denton a safer place to live, work and visit.

I regularly attend community events and business engagement opportunities, and I encourage residents to share information and raise concerns through local meetings, 101, online reporting and official GMP channels. By working together, we can help make Denton North East a safer place to live, work and visit.
Burglary / Antisocial behaviour
Issued 12 October 2026
The Denton North East Neighbourhood Policing Team is prioritising the increase in residential burglaries within the ward. These crimes have had a significant impact on the community, leading the team to implement a range of measures to combat them. Officers are conducting high-visibility patrols, providing residents with crime prevention tips, and working closely with local neighbourhood watch schemes.
Additionally the team is focusing on tackling antisocial behaviour, especially in and around Victoria Park and neighbouring areas. These areas have been identified as hotspots for disruptive activities, which affect the quality of life for local residents. The team is working closely with community groups and local authorities to implement effective strategies to reduce these incidents.
