Rushaun Brown (17/01/98) of Higher Ardwick, Manchester was today (Wednesday 30 November 2022) sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum of 24 years, after being found guilty of murder and pleading guilty to possession of an offensive weapon. Meshai Newby, (02/8/1998), of Brydon Avenue, Manchester, was sentenced to 14 years imprisonment, after being found guilty of manslaughter, section 20 assault, and possession of an offensive weapon.

At around 11pm last night (Monday 28 November 2022), a 16-year-old male attended Cheadle Heath Police Station. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody for questioning.
